# Autogiro

Autogiro, or [Bg Autogiro](https://www.bankgirot.se/en/services/direct-debit/direct-debit/), is a direct debit scheme used in Sweden. The direct debit payments, both one-time and recurring, are collected based on a mandate signed by the payer.
