# Source connectors

When you install FinDock, FinDock itself is the source of truth for your payments in Salesforce. We call this setup [FinDock Standalone](/docs/source-connectors/findock-standalone).

You can add and activate source connectors to integrate with industry solutions. With these connectors, the payment data in FinDock is automatically synced with the industry-specific objects.
