# Can I use the free Salesforce Integration user license with FinDock?

The [Salesforce Integration user license](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.rn_api_integration_license.htm&release=242&type=5) is a [Standard User](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.users_license_types_available.htm&type=5) license. You may have one or more free Salesforce Integration user licenses available depending on the org type.

The [FinDock Integration User permission set group](/docs/setup/permission-set-groups#findock-integration-user-permission-set-group) is designed to be used with the free Salesforce Integration user license. Please note that the [general permission requirements](/docs/setup/general-permission-guidance) still apply.

Default record type error
You may encounter the Salesforce error `CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY: record type missing for: <Object>`. If you encounter this error, you need to assign a default record type for the indicated object to your integration user. FinDock permissions sets created prior to the FinDock September '23 release do not support the Salesforce Integration user license.
