Pre-authorized Debit (PAD)
In Canada, the Pre-authorized Debit (PAD) payment method enables merchants to withdraw money directly from the payer's account. Like other direct debit methods, PAD payments can only be collected after a mandate (PAD agreement) has been made with the payer.
