Setup
Here we take you through all the steps required for adding FinDock to a Salesforce org. After the basic setup is complete, you can move on to adding packages for payment extensions and, if needed, source connectors.
The left-hand menu here is ordered according to the sequence of topics to cover in a typical setup.
The basic setup procedure is:
- Install FinDock packages.
Install FinDock Core, ProcessingHub and the optional Additional Setup.
Start installing > - Configure permissions.
This is a crucial step to get right. Take our time here.
Prepare permissions > - Configure FinDock Core.
FinDock Core has a few important items to set up.
Configure Core > - Connect FinDock.
The FinDock ProcessingHub app needs an authenticated connection to your org.
Connect ProcessingHub > - Connect WebHub.
This is not required, but setups often need an authenticated connection to the FinDock WebHub app.

Once the basic setup is in place, you can add payment extensions to integrate with your preferred payment processor. You may also need to install a source connector for industry solutions.
