The Inbound Report object is used to capture incoming payment data from certain file types and from all supported notification events from integrated Payment Service Provider (PSP) notifications.
Inbound Report records are linked to related records in Salesforce such as payment profile, installment, contact, and so forth. As part of the reconciliation process, inbound reports are used to match and enrich Salesforce data through Guided Matching.
The Inbound Report object includes a wide range of fields. This is necessary to cover all the potential facets of the incoming payment data. In addition to parsing information into relevant fields, the entire incoming payment data is also stored on the inbound report record in the RAW message field.
