# Troubleshooting payments

In the complex world of payments, problems can arise from any direction, from temporary networking issues to misconfigurations, customizations and incorrect data. Troubleshooting involves checking a number of different information sources and resolving issues blocking normal payment processing.

Often problems can be resolved by a standard Salesforce users, such are your payment operations user profile. Others may require a FinDock admin or Salesforce system administrator for root cause analysis and resolution.
