Troubleshooting payment schedules

Payment schedules enable collection of both one-time and recurring payments, making them central to payment operations. Monitoring payment schedules is an important part of regular payment operations.

The potential sources of problems with payment schedules include:

  • Installments
    Failures with individual installments in a schedule are typically related to data quality; installments you expected to see selected are not linked to the schedule, which can occur, for instance, if the mandate or payment profile is not active
  • Payment schedules
    If the payment schedule itself fails, there is probably a conflict with schedule dates or a temporary problem with FinDock processing functions
  • Processing
    Schedule processing jobs can run into technical issues, like compute bottlenecks, and slow unexpectedly, leading to stalled jobs.
