Why do I get an invalid session error with Deploy Config?

The FinDock Deploy Config feature used the Salesforce Metadata API to insert the current session ID when deploying configuration changes.

Because FinDock posts to an “external” endpoint, Salesforce requires authentication. Standard security checks with the supplied session ID typically suffices. However, if your org uses high assurance or other special security configurations, the Deploy Config fails with the error ´INVALID_SESSION_ID´. This indicates the supplied session ID and user permissions are insufficient authentication for the Metadata API call.

Workaround: Currently, the only way to avoid this blocking error is to temporarily disable the enhanced session security settings. Run Deploy Config and enable them again as soon as the deployment is completed.
